Joan Oliver is a veteran grant specialist with over $13 million in public and private funds secured for a broad range of clients. Ms. Oliver holds a Master’s Degree in Library Science and has held professional grant administrative positions at SUNY Research Foundation, the New York State Education Department, various professional associations and direct service agencies. She has secured highly competitive grants including an award winning, nationally recognized, federally funded ‘Learn and Serve America’ project. Ms. Oliver has advanced training from the Grantsmanship Center and the Foundation Center in research and proposal development. Her specialties include: lead generation, grantmaker research, grant readiness, program development, proposal preparation, document critique, inquiry letter campaigns, RFP response, grant team oversight, statistical evidence and demographic research. Ms. Oliver conducts training in grant procurement and consults with diverse clients.
